Horizon Homes is a custom-design home building company, established in 1998.
Director Denis Carroll has more than 30 years’ experience in the building industry. His vision was to create a stress-free, pleasurable building experience.
He believed it was possible to expertly guide clients from concept design through to completed build.
Horizon Homes does just that, building beautiful homes for comfortable living. We take your dream, and make it a reality.

who we are
Our team
The Horizon Homes team is made up of long-term office and site staff.
Our two site supervisors have extensive experience. They’ve been part of the business for 15 and 23 years. Our carpenters are all employees and trained within the business from the apprentice stage. This ensures they absorb the Horizon Homes culture and are trained to work to our exacting standards.
Each year we employ a first year apprentice and build our team from within the business. This investment in young carpenters is a way of giving back to the industry we love. But it also means we’ve built our team from the ground up.
Our office team is just as passionate about helping guide you through the design, approval and selection process.
They will handle all the necessary council approvals – whether you have a complying development or need to go through the development approval process. We even have an interior designer on staff to help as much (or as little) as you like.
Of course, at the core, Horizon Homes is a family-owned, local company, led by Directors Denis and Esther Carroll.
A builder for more than 30 years, Denis has a reputation for attention to detail, quality craftsmanship and his ability to resolve the most complex building challenges.
Esther is a large part of our success and wears many hats: business management and planning, financial management and human resources.
