When we received an SOS from a family with dreams to build in Bella Vista – just around the corner from our Jack’s Point display home – Horizon Homes was pleased to answer the call.

The family was planning a two-storey home, with four bedrooms upstairs, a guest bedroom downstairs, and expansive living areas… but COVID-19 disrupted those plans.

Our client, Kartik, takes up the story.

Building a custom home can be challenging, especially in the post-COVID era. I faced a few setbacks when my initial builders couldn’t continue. Thankfully, Horizon Homes stepped in to take over the design and work with my existing selections and even reused my selected vendors to expedite the work.

This custom home has numerous design features, playfully mixing materials to provide depth and texture. When you walk into the stunning double height foyer, you’ll find both formal and informal living areas, a stunning kitchen with butler’s pantry as well as an entertainment room complete with bar. Generous alfresco areas overlook the pool.

A high-quality home with exceptional attention to detail is what we strive for with every Horizon Homes build. And, while we acknowledge that building a home can be stressful, our build process is designed to ensure ‘The Joy of Home’ begins during the design and construction phase.

There’s a guest bedroom downstairs, and four bedrooms upstairs – the main with luxurious ensuite bathroom and walk-in robe. The family has a private lounge area upstairs.

When building this home, we ensured it met all the Building Sustainability (BASIX) requirements, and complies with the Nationwide House Energy Ratings Scheme (NatHERS), so it is not only beautiful, but comfortable and economical to live in.
